Police: Accused Dealer Nabbed After Selling Controlled Substance To Undercover Cop In Greenwich

An undercover police operation in Greenwich led to the arrest of a 33-year-old woman who is facing a host of charges.

The Greenwich Police Department Narcotics Division received information that Edgewood Avenue resident Helen Deluna sells prescription pills to several people in town out of her apartment.

Police said that narcotics detectives contacted Deluna and negotiated a drug deal, where Deluna sold an undercover officer prescription pills that were classified as a controlled substance.

Further investigation found that Deluna was in possession of more pills and that the pills were prescribed to a different person. Police said that the “other pills were classified as narcotics.”

Deluna was arrested and charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of narcotics. Following her arraignment, Deluna was released and is scheduled to appear in court in Stamford on Friday, March 22 to respond to the charges.
